Egyptian women in light of the 2017 Census

Ambassador Mervat Tallawy, Director General of the Arab Women Organization, participated in the seminar entitled "Egyptian Women in the Light of the 2017 Population Data"
The seminar was organized by the National Council for Women in cooperation with the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS). Opening remarks were made by Dr. Maya Morsi and General Abu Bakr AlGuindy. The seminar discussed Egyptian women's issues from the perspective of the population census, and they highlighted the results of the 2017 census and how to relate this to the National Strategy for Egyptian Women.
