preparatory meetings and the opening session of the Arab Economic and Social Development Summit at its fourth

 The Arab Women Organization (AWO) participates in the preparatory meetings of the Arab Economic and Social development Summit at its fourth session,  on senior official and ministerial levels in the Lebanese capital, Beirut on 17 and 18 January 2019.

Dr. Fadia Kiwan, director General of AWO, will participate in the opening session of the Summit at its fourth session on 20 January 2019.

The agenda of the Arab Summit at includes a number of items: The integration of women and girls into the development process of local communities, the Arab Strategy to protect refugee children in the Arab Region, Arab Food Security, the Arab Strategy for Sustainable Energy 2030, and development of technical and vocational education in the Arab world.
