AWO Honors a number of Palestinian women strugglers

AWO will be honoring a number of Palestinian women on their struggle and distinguished effort in serving society and the Marche of woman in Palestine. The honoring will be a side event of the cultural salon co organized by AWO and the Palestinian embassy in Cairo in 6th March 2017 at the embassy’s premises.
Among honored women: General Fatma Brnawi (ex-woman police leader) first Palestinian captive in the Israeli prisons and Dr. Kawla Al azarq (Gender activist leader) and an ex captive.
The salon sheds light on the suffering of Palestinian women under Israeli occupation on the event of international woman day.
The salon also includes review of CVs, success stories to be documented for the coming generations, moreover, it uses the new roles of women in the struggle of women for building an integrating cultural project about Palestinian women.
The salon is attended by a number of prominent and public Arab and Palestinian figures in addition to ambassador Mervat Tallawy DG of AWO and ambassador Gamal Elshobaky and his wife, Rania.
