The Arab Women Organization holds a training course on the political empowerment of Arab women

The Arab Women Organization held a training course for trainers in the field of political empowerment in Cairo from 13-15 September 2017. The session was attended by women parliamentarians, women political activists, civil society organizations and women's workers, especially in the field of enhancing the political participation of women from Egypt, Oman, Lebanon, Syria and Yemen. At the end of the training course, the trainees were given graduation certificates by Dr.Malika El Serroukh, Vice Director General of AWO.

Program of training courses in the field of political empowerment.
AWO has adopted the training program in the field of political empowerment since 2010. It started organizing courses in which women from all member countries participate. The organization held three training courses on women's participation in political life, the first in Cairo on 24-30 July 2016, the second in Beirut from 8-13 August 2016, and the third in Muscat on 4-8 September 2016. The organization issued 2015 a training manual "Pilot to Active Political Participation" to be the reference for training in these courses.
