Network of Arab Women in Immigrant Countries

Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, President of the General Women Union; President of the Family Development Foundation in the United Arab Emirates; and President of the AWO(2007-2009), announced a donation to establish the Network of Arab Women in Immigrant Countries. She made that contribution during the events of the Organization's First Conference in the Kingdom of Bahrain (November 13-15, 2006). The donation was in response to one of the key recommendations of the workshop on Arab Women in Immigrant Countries held during the conference. H.H Shiekha Fatima Bint Mubarak launched the Network of Arab Women in Immigrant Countries during the Second AWO Conference in November2008 .
Network Objectives
  • Provide a directory on prominent Arab women abroad.
  • Provide various information services to Arab women in immigrant countries.
  • Provide a forum for Arab immigrant women to communicate with their peers.
