Family and Childhood of Tunisia starts a new Training course on political empowerment

AWO is cooperating with the Ministry of Women, Family and Children of Tunisia, and will hold training course on political empowerment in the Republic of Tunisia from 19 to 25 November 2017.
 Ambassador Mervat Tallawy, Director-General of AWO, said that the course aims at enhancing the political culture of political activists or those who have reached positions of responsibility and leadership. The training in the course is based on the organization's training manual "Manual for Effective Political Participation".
This session is a continuation of the work of AWO’s 2017 Agenda, which aims at holding meetings and activities at the national level in each country rather than at the regional level, in order to consolidate and expand the presence of the Arab Women Organization in Member States and further define its mission to support and promote Arab women on the widest possible basis.
