| This program aims at encouraging scholars, researchers and Media personnel to be more
responsive to women's issues and to address them in their scientific theses, theoretical
and applied research or in their artistic creativity. It also seeks to advocate gender awareness and
the
full
understanding
of
its
issues in
the
academic
field,
consequently
leading
to
the reinforcement of
such concepts in the Arab
culture as
a whole. To
achieve its
objectives,
the
program used a variety of
mechanisms
including training
courses,
issuing
gender
sensitive publications and offering
research grants and awards. |
