A symposium of the Arab Women Organization will hold at the fiftieth session of the Cairo International Book Fair, next Sunday

 The AWO will hold a symposium entitled “Facing the exclusion of women and girls in the Arab region" at the fiftieth session of the Cairo International Book Fair (Golden Jubilee) next Sunday.

It will be opened by Dr. Fadia Kiwan, Director-General of the AWO, and it will be chaired by Dr. Ola Abu Zeid, Professor of Political Science at Cairo University.
Dr.  lana mamkegh, the former Minister of Culture in Jordan and member of the Executive Council of the AWO, will discuss the first axis in the economic exclusion and how to confront it.
Professor Iqbal Dogan, President of the Lebanese Council of women, will discuss the second axis in the Political exclusion and Policies to enhance the presence of women in political life. 
A number of writers, diplomats, academics, media professionals and public figures, will be attended
